Managing Dropped Object Risks from Conveyors
In collaboration with a key client, E.S.M. devised a model and framework to assess and reduce the risks associated with dropped objects from conveyors.

E.S.M. recently facilitated a 4-day Detailed Design HAZOP for a major upgrade project on a minerals processing plant. E.S.M. worked with the owner, engineering service provider and vendors to facilitate the HAZOP in multiple sessions in line with progression of the design.
For a large infrastructure client, E.S.M. conducted a comprehensive Reliability Centred Maintenance (RCM) study for a safety-critical asset type.
E.S.M. developed a system for safe work on high-voltage rotating plant, which was a new asset type for the client. The system included governance, rules and procedures. E.S.M. delivered a comprehensive manual with accompanying forms and templates.
E.S.M. studied the safety features on high voltage transmission towers for the prevention of unauthorised access (i.e. climbing) of the structures.
E.S.M. conducted a study to develop and apply a risk-management model for the points of isolation used by workers on high-voltage (HV) electricity transmission substations.
